Job Description
San Marcos Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate fulltime 6th Grade Teacher for theschool year. This position involves teaching English and history to 6th grade students. The ideal candidate will cultivate a dynamic and engaging learning environment that sparks creativity and nurtures a passion for knowledge in students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for 6thgrade English and history classes.
Foster critical thinking creativity and a love for reading writing and historical inquiry.
Create an interactive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and discussion.
Assess student progress through assignments projects and assessments providing meaningful feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities and support student growth.
Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff.

Qualifications:
