Job Description

JOB DUTIES

Essential Functions

Direct the activities of all job site personnel.

Knowledgeable communications with customers and contractors.

Coordination of material and manpower needs.

Resolve customer/contractor complaints.

Maintain a work schedule for the job site.

Maintain and document Daily Logs of job activities and progress utilizing Procore.

Communicate with Project Manager regarding potential change orders.

Order job site supplies through purchasing as needed.

Assist with the duties of field personnel as necessary.

Make hiring/firing recommendations to the Project Manager as needed

Any other duties the Project Manager may assign

JOB QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Education

Required: A high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing

Required: Must possess an active State Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Master Electrician or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management.

Required: Must possess at minimum a Class B Commercial Drivers License

within 6 Months of acceptance. DOT Medical Card.

Preferred: Minimum of MSHA Surface Electrical Certification within 1 Year of

acceptance.

Experience

Prefers above requirement plus three to five years experience as a Journeyman

Electrician and one year of supervisory responsibilities.

Possesses the skills knowledge and abilities of a Journeyman Electrician.

Skills Knowledge and Abilities

Must stay up to date with changes in the equipment and products in the electrical industry. Must be willing and able to do hands on work as well as supervise.

Fully comprehends electrical theory and NFPA 70 National Electric Code.

The physical requirements consist of extended periods of standing bending and stooping turning the head and torso reaching grasping bending and flexing the arms legs wrists hands and fingers. The senses of sight hearing and smell aswell as having full power of speech are required. The ability to climb and balanceis essential. Must be able to lift more than sixty 60 pounds on occasion.

Must be able to comprehend basic business math calculations well enough to
verify accurate invoicing. Must be able to communicate in English effectively
both written and verbal with customers and employees.

Working knowledge of the Spanish language is highly desirable. Must be able to calmly deal with customers contractors and subcontractors.

In addition to the general requirements described above specific physical

requirements include:

Always having personal tools with them (waist tool belt as worn weighs

approximately 30 lbs.

Working from all types of ladders.

Carry and relocate ladders by ones self.

Maintaining personal weight and personal tool weight limits that do not
exceed maximum weight limits of ladders being used (Class 1 250 lbs. Class 1A 300 lbs. Class 1AA 375 lbs..

Performing work at various heights (up to 125 from ladders scaffolds aerial
lifts cat walks or other areas.

Working in restricted areas (switchgear room manholes utility tunnels crawl
spaces attics).

Wearing personal protective equipment (hard hat safety glasses and steel

toed boots) FR clothes and respirator when required.

Repetitively using arms hands and finger

Traveling to outoftown job sites for extended periods. Overnight stays are
typical and may be required.

Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities (PortaJohns)

WORKING CONDITIONS

Will work on the project site area that may not be climate controlled and is
subject to extremes of heat humidity and cold. Work will be performed near
moving machines and in sometimes hazardous conditions. There is physical
risk if the work is not carefully performed and there can be exposure to fumes
airborne particles and sometimes high and hazardous places.

Will be required to go out on some service calls to the customers premises. The
conditions at these premises are not within the control of our company. However if
the conditions are not safe the Project Supervisor will consult with the Project
Manager. The Project Manager may refuse authorization to perform the work
