Your Role:
Your role as a landscape architect will be toprovide innovative and aesthetically pleasing environment. Ensuring thatchanges to the natural environment are appropriate sensitive and sustainable.Collaborating closely with other professionals you will work on a range ofprojects in both urban and rural settings.
- Establish general landscape requirements with clients
- Conduct preliminary studies of the site (including contours soil ecology buildings roads heritage).
- Prepare site plans specifications and cost estimates.
- Accurately prepare and present detailed plans and working drawings of the redesign of the new site including applications construction details and specifications for the project using computeraided design (CAD) packages or similar design software.
- Select appropriate landscaping materials
- Analyse environmental reports on land conditions such as drainage and energy usage.
- Inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres to plans.
- Carry out site visits.
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Liaise with other professionals on the project.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Architectureor Masters in architecture with specialisation in landscape architecture.
- A good working knowledge of Revit and Autocad is essential
- Demonstrable presentation and client relations skills
- Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
- Excellent collaboration skills good selforganisation and strong ability to work in a team environment
