Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Plan materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials needed for production.
- Analyse material consumption data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements in material planning processes.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing material planning efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to ensure optimal stock availability while minimising excess inventory.
- Prepare detailed reports on customer demand vs. capacity.
What you will need:
- A bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration a STEM field or equivalent experience through an apprenticeship or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated interest or aptitude for quickly acquiring IT skills; experience in scripting or coding (desirable)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools is desirable (e.g. Power BI SQL Access).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to team goals.
- Able to commute to the site location at least 5 days a week.
- Previous experience using SAP (desirable)
- Proficiency in a foreign language (desirable)
