About the Role
Liebherr Maritime Cargo and Construction division is seeking a highly motivated Crane Technician. As part of a national team youll report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for carrying out Field Service works on Ship and Offshore Cranes. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently solve problems and have a solid trade background. This is a handson and practical role perfect for someone who is eager to learn new skills develop themselves and promote the bestinclass Liebherr brand.
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in the electric electronic mechanical hydraulic and the crane industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair Liebherr offshore and ship cranes.
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems with onsite tradesperson support.
- Adjust and test Liebherr offshore and ship cranes according to specifications.
- Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field.
- Complete hour and service reports.
About you
- Trade qualification in a relevant field.
- Willingness to learn about other disciplines.
- Strong work ethic critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel interstate and overseas and work overtime as required.
- Complete site inductions and follow sitespecific safety and permittowork systems.
- Fulfill medical and physical requirements to hold a BOSIET or TBOSIET
- Electrician trade or license is not required.
