The salary range for this position is $12.50/hour $14.94/hour. Exact salaries are calculated when a job offer is to be made and are based on a candidates experience and qualifications. Employees in this position are eligible for shift differentials. As a member of the Resource Team you receive an additional $1/hr on your base salary.

As a member of the Resource Team you have the opportunity to care for patients on all our inpatient units as well as at the Clinical Evaluation Center. The variety of work assignments affords a rich learning experience. A comprehensive orientation is provided.
Under direction of the Registered Nurse the MHS provides direct patient care and participates in therapeutic milieu. Successful candidate will provide accurate and timely documentation on progress notes and observation sheets. Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients maintaining professional boundaries. Identifies patient behaviors that contribute to the development of a crisis; utilizes nonverbal and verbal techniques to deescalate crisis situation. Participates in planning and implementation of patient groups. Active milieu assessment while assigned to checks particularly attuned to safety concerns. Assists patients in their activities of daily living.
