Position Overview:
As a key member of the store leadership team the Assistant Store Manager Experience is responsible for creating highly engaging customer journeys helping cement Canada Goose as a luxury performance lifestyle brand. You embody Canadian Warmth demonstrating expertise in every recommendation and conveying warmth in each interaction bringing the guest journey to life. You are a passionate and effective leader able to coach your team to achieve results. You will lead and create a culture of talent development and education ensuring all team members are equipped with the vital tools and resources to drive results. You are persistent in fostering genuine connections with both your team and customers building brand loyalty and ensuring a profitable business. You will help identify and implement key business strategies and are able to step into the Store Manager role when needed. Ultimately you are responsible for supporting the quantitative and qualitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the store. You are a steward of Canada Gooses values and culture.
What Youll Do:
- Deliver and model a superior customer service journey reflective of Canadian Warmth resulting in consistent exceptional guest experiences; track measure report on relative KPIs.
- Create and develop lasting client relationships through consistent engagement and use of Canada Goose tools.
- Lead a culture of clienteling ensuring Brand Ambassadors are fostering cultivate consistent elevated engagement with top guests.
- Represent Canada Goose in the market by developing a client base through community involvement partnerships with local highprofile businesses and social and seasonal events.
- Resolve guest issues through a customercentric lens by investigating opportunities developing solutions and coaching the team on resolution.
- Create a culture of talent development and ongoing education for the entire store team.
- Foster an inclusive and diverse working environment.
- Lead implement and follow up on all educational initiatives and strategies.
- Actively mentor and develop associates to improve performance and foster growth.
- Continuously coach selling behaviours that drive team member performance and elevate the guest journey.
- Inspire and maintain an outstanding employee experience that drives employee engagement.
- Maintain an opendoor environment that encourages feedback and discourse.
- Consistently recruit to build an external network of talent.
- Educate associates and ensure consistent use of strategic tools and resources including communications platform queue management learning management virtual appointment platform etc.
- Partner with key crossfunctional teams to ensure the physical store space is maintained at the highest level.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets including both the topand bottomline results.
- Continuously analyze key performance indicators and leverage insights to create and implement action plans that drive performance.
- Partner with the Store Manager to ensure store has adequate resources to achieve and exceed performance goals (i.e. inventory labour).
Lets Talk About You:
- 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in a related industry.
- Previous experience working with luxury lifestyle brands in Flagship or highvolume traffic locations.
- Experience using customer relationship management tools.
- Scheduling Payroll and expense management experience.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of retail math and metrics and using analytics in a business environment.
- Guest experience enthusiast with a keen attention to detail driving performance through internal KPIs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Consistently exhibits Canada Gooses Values taking pride in being innovative authentic passionate relentless and entrepreneurial.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in another language is an asset.
