Job Description
Company:
Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services isseeking multiple KC46 or similar platform KC46 Product Repair/Mod Tech in direct support of KC46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program within Boeing Global Services at McGuire AFB NJ.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assembles disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing removing replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversees assembly disassembly or overhaul.
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Troubleshoots complex pneumatic hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g. repairs test results applicable modifications and inspection results).
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Oversees training.
- Works under general direction.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance PreStart and final U.S. Secret Clearance PostStart is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in repair maintenance and retrofit processes and practices
- Ability to travel 1525 of the time both domestically and internationally
- Minimum of 3 years experience do you have in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals
- Minimum of 3 years experience working from heights & using fall protection equipment with weight limitations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with repairing and troubleshooting aircraft structural/composite mechanical hydraulic electrical fuel environmental and avionics systems
- Experience do you have in avionicstroubleshooting
Typical Education/Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate2 years related work Bachelor etc..
