JOB C&I Engineer
LOCATION Hemel Hempstead
TERM Permanent
SALARY 45000 to 50000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a wellestablished engineering company based in Hemel Hempstead that is looking to hire a Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer.
The C&I Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or qualification in Electrical Control & Instrumentation or Automation Engineering (BEng MEng HND HNC etc..
- Experience in control system design instrumentation and automation.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs SCADA and industrial control systems.
- Experience with process instrumentation sensors and actuators.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and control panel design.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot commission and maintain control systems.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams clients and suppliers.
The C&I Engineer role will involve:
- Designing developing and implementing control and instrumentation systems.
- Programming and configuring PLCs SCADA and HMI systems.
- Selecting and integrating process instrumentation for various applications.
- Carrying out system testing commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Working closely with engineers project managers and clients to meet specifications.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Supporting the maintenance and improvement of existing control systems.
