Job Description
As the Outbound Supervisor at Arvato your primary objective will be to ensure the timely completion of orders aligning with our commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Collaborating closely with Wave Panning youll manage labor resources effectively while prioritizing orders with precision.
YOUR TASKS
- Supervise and manage the labor and equipment of the Pick/Pack/Ship operation.
- Ensure ontime completion and maintain quality of orders to meet customer requirements.
- Work with control tower on labor management and priority of orders. You will oversee direct shipping pick and pack and traffic.
- Supervise and coordinates activities of employees.
- Receiving of materials.
- Transferring of materials.
- Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the picking packing and shipping departments.
- Ensure proper procedures are adhered to and up to date for the control tower for current and new customers.
- Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
- Document update and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
- Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
- Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor specific shipping requirements.
- Update and maintain Kronos and Metrics in excel as it relates to WMS reporting.
- Monitor picking packing and shipping functions on the floor.
- Ensure that shift end specific procedures with all shipping systems are completed and floor end of shift close out are followed.
- Shift: Sunday Tuesday 7am 7:30pm every other Saturday 6am 2pm.
YOUR PROFILE
- 3 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelors Degree is preferred.
- 3 years in an SAP and /or WMS environment.
- Experience with inventory research.
