Full Time Position Providence Point (Issaquah WA)
As a Maintenance Technician youll play a role in providing toptier inhouse maintenance for our seven villages and the Umbrella Association. Your responsibilities will include performing pool/spa maintenance fire system maintenance carpentry and emergency service work. Youll ensure all work is executed to the highest standard maintaining the integrity and quality of our residences and community buildings.
JOB DUTIES:
Properly maintain an indoor pool and spa at a high level to ensure proper water chemistry/quality and cleanliness.
Maintain 4 community buildings touchup paint carpentry trim work drywall basic electrical and basic plumbing.
Perform temporary and permanent repairs to buildings to stop water rodent and insect intrusions.
Perform gutter cleaning and minor repairs.
Interior and exterior painting.
Learn property water meter locations.
Perform Street maintenance such as pothole filling signage repair/replacement.
Provide snow and ice removal as needed using manual methods.
Participate in weekend rotation 1 weekend duration every 34 weeks to provide necessary assistance in waterleaks storm cleanup fire response weekend pool/spa maintenance etc.
Replacing expansion joints replacing lights bulbs and streetlights.
Complete and communicate work orders tracking time and materials.
Order needed supply.
Perform tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Maintenance Technician II Hourly Rate DOE: $27/Hourly to $31/Hourly

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous maintenance or construction experience.
Experienced trade tool function and operation of hand and power tools such as circular and miter saws drills sanders paint sprayers etc.
Must be organized able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Ability to work independently and make educated decisions.
Resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
Basic understanding of buildings to deter water/rodent/insect intrusions repellent principles and implementation.
Excellent communication/customer service skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Hold a valid drivers license.
Ability to pass a drug test.
Participate in weekend OnCall rotation.
Have a good attitude and be able to work well with others.
Ability to be conscience of surroundings to provide a proactive preventative awareness.
Continuously exchange information through both listening and communicating.
Ability to frequently kneel bend push and pull.
Ability to work in crawl spaces and attics.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
Ability of Carpentry Skills Framing fence installation/repair minor siding/roofing/concrete work and garden box repair/rebuild.
