Job Description
What will be your daily pursuit
The Accounting Applications Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining our applications for our Accounting and Finance groups. This role will perform analysis and communicate well with multiple business lines and technical platforms. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of our Accounting and Finance applications as well as occasionally facilitate in developing reports and integrations with the help of our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional background of IT knowledge with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
What will your compensation be
The salary range for this role is $75400/year to $90000/year. Pursuit offers a full suite of benefits including discounts at our hotels restaurants and attractions flexible time off and a 401k contribution matching plan.
What will you do in this job
- Work within D365 Finance and Operations HFM Solver Sage Fixed Assets to assist our Accounting and Finance groups
- Field support and service requests related to Accounting and Finance applications prioritizing any revenueimpacting or businesscritical issues
- Assist with any troubleshooting related to data integrations from our point of sale applications to our ERP
- Become an expert in the financial reporting application space
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes define requirements design solutions and collaborate in data validation ensuring the final solution meets or exceeds all business needs
- Create and maintain documentation including technical specifications user guides and troubleshooting information
What skills and experience do you need for this job
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Preferred Skills: D365 Oracle HFM or other accounting or ERP experience such as SAP
- BS or BA in Computer Science (or similar) or 5 years of relevant work experience with SQL querying a plus for reporting requests. a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes and concepts (AP AR GL etc.
- Beneficial experience that is not required:
- Azure Data Factory
- Experience with data extraction via APIs
