This position is located in St. Joseph Distribution Center
What you will do
As a Reliability Engineer you will review and participate in capital projects to ensure total cost of ownership is considered Own and optimize the preventive and predictive maintenance processes and systematically identify and eliminate production losses and asset failures through RiskBased Asset Management and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM).
How you will do it
You will lead efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment processes utilities facilities controls and safety/security systems.
Professionally and systematically defines designs develops monitors and refines an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes Valueadded preventive maintenance tasks and Effective utilization of predictive and other nondestructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems
Applies value analysis to repair/replace repair/redesign and make/buy decisions
What we look for
Bachelors degree in Engineering required Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree or similar discipline preferred
1 3 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role required.
1 3 years of experience working with reliability engineering related processes required.
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional desired
Must have an understanding of Lean Six Sigma and TPM. LeanSix Sigma Black belt certification desired
Must fully domain the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) process Asset Management & condition monitoring principles tools and application
Expertise in all areas of maintenance and reliability material management planning and scheduling and/or CMMS / EAM / ERP optimization is desired
Proficient on Popular CMMS solutions like Maximo 7.6 SAP Maintenance & Prisma
Should have good oral/written communication skills and possess tact.
Able to talk in public and teach large groups
Requires 30 travel

Our St. Joseph Missouri distribution center charges packages and ships the batteries used in cars boats motorcycles and heavyduty trucks. We opened in 2000 now employ more than 280 people and operate six days per week.
