Senior Manager Performance and Attribution
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Services team at Mercer. This role will be based in either our Melbourne (Docklands) or Sydney (Barangaroo) office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office and is a 12 month parental leave contract.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks tailored to the Australian and New Zealand markets.
- Conduct indepth attribution analysis to identify sources of portfolio returns and provide actionable insights to investment teams.
- Oversee the collection validation and analysis of performance data ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports for stakeholders including senior management clients and regulatory bodies
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
What you need to have:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field; advanced degree (e.g. CFA CIPM) preferred.
- Strong understanding of investment principles financial markets and performance measurement methodologies.
- Proven track record in setting up performance analysis teams for multisector investment strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
- Minimum of 1215 years of experience in investment performance analysis with at least 5 years in people management.
