Job Description

Kalman & Company Inc. is seeking a CBR IPE Mission Scheduler to work onsite in Rota Spain at a government client site. The Mission Schedulers primary role is to maintain a professional rapport with the customer in order to coordinate Fit Test & Size (FT&S) operations as well as offload / onload delivery dates with the client; conduct customer briefings; may be required to travel both within Spain other locations in Europe and / or the continental United States; will be responsible for assisting the Hub Manager Project Engineers and Coordinators in all daily tasks and ensure the completion of each assigned task as directed; provide technical knowledge where applicable; facilitate accurate inventory of all assets and information counted / collected daily by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality (QMS) management systems; participate in and oversee quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities by way of visual technical and cyclic inspection on all CBR equipment and data by utilizing established processes procedures and technical guidance while complying to all safety conduct and company policies and procedures as defined.

Specific Duties:

All essential functions are conducted in accordance with all applicable technical procedural and quality requirements identified by the customer and organization.

Visual / Technical Inspection:

  • Mission Schedulers must participate in train and oversee visual / technical inspections of all CBR equipment as directed.

Fit Test & Sizing Responsibilities include participation and oversight as directed to:

  • Coordinate operations for Ensemble Sizing (True Fit) of personnel using Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) or as otherwise directed by NAVSEA Panama City FL.
  • Coordinate operations for Mask Sizing by use of (JSMLT / M41 PATS) CBR protective masks and related sizing tools on required personnel or as otherwise directed by NAVSEA Panama City FL.
  • Coordinate onload / offload operations of CBR IPE and masks at customer locations or as otherwise directed.
  • Ensure that appropriate segregation of sizing data onto records or other formats as directed is occurring during missions.
  • Create and submit reports for operations to the Hub Manager or other members of Management.
  • Interact with diverse groups to provide and process information in response to inquiries concerns and requests about products and services.

Equipment Processing Responsibilities include participation and oversight as directed to:

  • Locate deissue and transfer CBR IPE and masks and / or related equipment returned from customers to segregate them by size and type where applicable into storage bins.
  • Identify direct segregation inventory and reporting of all unserviceable CBR IPE for future processing through the Defense Accountability Reutilization and Disposal (DARD).
  • Identify segregate inventory properly prepare and report all hazardous waste / hazardous materials for disposal through the Defense Reutilization and Disposal Service (DRMO) as directed by NAVSEA Panama City FL.
  • Maintain competence to:
  • Fully disassemble CBR masks and related equipment for the purpose of quick inspection.
  • Fully reassemble CBR masks and related equipment for retest if applicable.
  • Ensure all products or jobrelated equipment discrepancies are corrected recorded and reported to the Hub Manager and Project Engineer if applicable.
  • Prepare equipment for short / long term storage utilizing warehousing and other jobrelated equipment and materials.

JSMLT / M41 PATS Operator Responsibilities include participation and oversight directed to:

  • Operate the JSMLT and M41 PATS and perform inspection / troubleshooting procedures.
  • Perform mask tester validation procedures.
  • Perform Quantitative Fit Tests on required personnel for accurate CBR mask fitting.
  • Ensuring all CBR mask testers are physically and digitally available in storage bins or other related locations.
  • Maintain the accuracy and quality of the CBR inventory by utilizing the WMS to manage calibration dates of all CBR mask testers.
  • Stage and prepare mask testers for shipment to the CSF or other approved designation for calibration activities.
  • Locate and pick CBR mask testers for work orders.
  • Ensure all products or jobrelated equipment discrepancies are corrected recorded and reported to the Hub Manager.

Inventory Control Responsibilities include participation and oversight as directed to:

  • Participate in and oversee cycle count inspections on CBR equipment and masks.
  • Ensure all inspected items are physically and digitally available within the WMS or other related locations.
  • Ensure all CBR equipment masks or other jobrelated equipment discrepancies are recorded corrected and reported to the Hub Manager.

Data Entry/Reporting Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all data collected is complete accurate and legible then entered into appropriate data collection systems.
  • Provide matrixdriven reports in support of the Consolidated Storage Facility (CSF) or other Regional Hub requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality of the CBR inventory by utilizing the WMS dashboard and / or handheld devices and related operational modules to appropriately identify count and audit digital information.

Rental Truck/Fork Truck/Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operator

  • When required Mission Schedulers will participate in or oversee the safe efficient and appropriate utilization of rental equipment / vehicles forklifts midriders pallet jacks and / or other similar MHE devices to transport CBR equipment and jobrelated materials to designated locations or as otherwise directed.

Required Education / Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • An Active Secret Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Experience and facility with Microsoft Office suite of applications specifically Excel Word and Outlook.

Preferred Education / Qualifications:

  • Some college education or college degree.
  • At least 3 years of CBRN or other IPE fit testing experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with warehouse (WMS) and quality (QMS) management systems
