Quantitative Portfolio Specialist
Position Overview:
- New York NY.
- The Customized Managed Account Solutions team seeks a Quantitative Portfolio Specialist to optimize various Equity Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and multiasset model portfolios for retail clients.
- This role reports to the Head of Customized Account Solutions and is part of the fastestgrowing platform in the Asset Management division.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with portfolio management teams to create frameworks for optimizing retail distribution portfolios maintaining similar risk and return profiles while accommodating lower minimums.
- Collaborate with sales and intermediaries to adjust portfolios based on specific platform constraints.
- Work with Portfolio Managers implementation teams and research teams to enhance the optimization logic for Tax Smart Active SMAs.
- Support the TaxSmart team in developing risk monitoring tools for actively managed taxefficient strategies.
- Design approaches for glide path model portfolios that regularly rebalance to different allocations as they mature while retaining the strategys tactical positioning.
Required Qualifications Skills and Attributes:
- 57 years of experience in the financial services sector.
- Previous experience in building quantitative models within the investment management industry.
- Intermediate proficiency in at least one programming language such as C C Java or Python.
- Creative thinker with the ability to independently analyze data and communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on leveraging intelligent automation tools
