Title: Director Executive and Internal Communications HR

Reports To: Alice Nagle VP Executive and Internal Communications

Location: Bay Area Seattle Indianapolis Raleigh preferred (near Genesys site)

Job Summary:

Create and execute an effective and engaging communications strategy that includes executive communications for the Chief People Officer and internal communications for the HR function.

What this role is:

Your internal clients will be the Genesys Chief People Officer (CPO) and the HR Leadership Team.

As an extended member of the CPOs leadership team you will be responsible for executing and delivering upon a communications agenda that contributes to a worldclass employee experience at Genesys and engages employees in HR programs.

You will work with an HR governance team on a quarterly communications plan and deliverables that drive engagement in key companywide HR initiatives and programs with three key internal audiences: all employees managers and the Leadership Community (VP). You will partner with the CPO on executive communications that may include internal and external presentations and in partnership with the PR team executive blogs media opportunities and social media. You will also be responsible for producing a biweekly Manager Know & Go newsletter.

You will report to the VP Executive and Internal Communications with a focus on ensuring HR messaging is aligned to the overall company strategy and messaging and using AI in new and creative ways to Transform Genesys with AI (a top company initiative).

What youll bring to the table:

Working knowledge and comfort with AI technologies. Flexible and energized by working in a fastpaced dynamic environment. The ability to toggle between being strong in advising with communications expertise while also collaborating and where it makes sense compromising to foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Some details about what youll do:

  • Lead a companywide communications program to create an exceptional employee experience and deliver a cohesive HR communications program to employees managers and leaders
  • Create and execute upon a communications plan for Chief People Officer
  • Manage all communications deliverables for CPO from content and messaging development to logistics including executive organization announcements Company All Hands meeting presentations internal and external presentations; partner with PR on external activities such as media and social media. These deliverables include content development messaging and securing appropriate approvals.
  • Strategic adviser to CPO executives on messaging tone and speaker delivery.
  • Member of the HR governance team
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing teams to ensure coordinated and consistent messaging across Genesys executives and functions

Minimum requirements:

  • 15 years experience in a corporate communications or similar role experience in HR function a plus
  • Experience working with executives in large companies
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with an emphasis on simple and conversational style
  • Proven success with employee communications and change management
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Mastery of modern communications tools: social/digital media AI
  • Global experience with an understanding and sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Experience in SaaS and cloud technologies

Compensation:

This role has a marketcompetitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidates experience qualifications skills and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performancebased bonus opportunities.

$149600.00 $277800.00
