Job Summary:
To assist the staff by performing clerical duties. To maintain and update patient records in a timely orderly manner. To acknowledge customers upon arrival to unit and to demonstrate enthusiastic friendly approach.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalency examination.
Experience: Previous secretarial experience desirable.
Licensure/Certification: Current American (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) card preferred.

Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of clerical procedures and medical terminology. Skill in English grammar and spelling. Neat legible handwriting. Ability to file and maintain patient records files and reports. Excellent communication skills. Ability to use office equipment such as multiline telephones computer terminals and printers.
