Job Description: Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have indepth expertise in managing Azure AD and related Microsoft cloud technologies. This role will involve ensuring seamless integration troubleshooting technical issues implementing robust security policies and collaborating across teams to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Managing Azure Active Directory
- Manage user accounts groups permissions and directory synchronization.
- Implement and enforce access policies to ensure optimal security.

Configuring Azure AD Connectors
- Integrate Azure AD with other applications and systems for seamless operation.
- Ensure smooth synchronization with onpremises Active Directory environments.

Troubleshooting Issues
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to Azure Active Directory Azure Key Vault and Azure Storage.
- Provide root cause analysis and recommend improvements to prevent future incidents.

Ensuring Compliance and Security
- Implement and manage RoleBased Access Control (RBAC) policies.
- Regularly audit permissions and configurations to align with security best practices.

Collaborating with CrossFunctional Teams
- Work closely with engineering IT and support teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Contribute to projects involving Azurerelated technologies.

Managing Storage and Data Protection
- Configure and manage longterm archival storage solutions.
- Ensure data security by implementing encryption and access controls.

- Develop and execute robust backup strategies for Azure resources.
- Enable quick restoration of data and services in the event of a disaster.

Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in managing Azure Active Directory and related services.
- Strong understanding of Azure AD Connect and its integration capabilities.
- Expertise in troubleshooting issues related to Azure Key Vault Storage and other Azure services.
- Indepth knowledge of RBAC policies security best practices and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure.
- Excellent problemsolving and collaboration skills.
- Certification in Azure technologies (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate Azure Security Engineer Associate) is a plus.
