Job Description
A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Service Support Technician 2 at MKS Instruments you will perform repairs so that we meet our customer demands on time. In this role you will work closely with other members of the service team as well as the greater crossfunctional team. This role provides the opportunity for growth and will provide a platform for future career development.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Performing variety of repairs and upgrades as required on assigned product line(s)
- Building/repairing products to instructions provided in Process Details and Service Bulletins or from approved samples
- Removing and replacing defective or damaged electronic assemblies
- Diagnosing mechanical hardware and systems failures using established procedures
- Testing and evaluating to subassembly level
Skills You Bring:
- A high school diploma
- 35 years experience of maintenance repair in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with MS Excel for data analysis and presentation
- Prior experience with Oracle SAP or other system software
- Willingness to work with diverse teams and demonstrate a cooperative teamfirst attitude
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
