Job Description
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a SAIPA Article Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in the accounting field and gain invaluable experience in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements tax returns and other financial documents for a variety of clients
Perform monthly accounting and bookkeeping tasks
Work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Assist with tax planning and compliance for individual and business clients
Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Take an active role in professional development and continuing education opportunities
Participate in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions
Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent degree prescribed by SAIPA
- Own reliable vehicle with valid drivers license.
- Previous bookkeeping experience will be advantageous.
