Job Description
Established in 2016 Hypebae is a leading female online destination that empowers our nextgen creatives by navigating todays emerging youth culture with stimulating organic narratives. Standing at the intersection of fashion and creative dialogue Hypebae shares its distinctive vision and provides impactful insights on the dynamic face of emerging youth culture.
Hypebae is seeking a New Yorkbased Social Media Coordinator to bring bold ideas creative energy and nextlevel strategy to our platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of creating highimpact content and driving audience engagement. This role requires a strategic and datadriven pro with at least two years of experience managing and growing social media platforms.
This role is all about driving impact building community and pushing creative boundaries. Were looking for someone with a deep understanding of TikTok Instagram X YouTube and other key platforms strong analytical skills and the ability to develop campaigns that align with business objectives. If you have a profound understanding of social trends and are capable of producing engaging platformnative content that resonates with our audience then do get in touch.
Responsibilities:
- Pitch and execute content creation across Hypebaes social platforms (TikTok Instagram X Threads YouTube Shorts and Facebook).
- and edit highquality video content.
- Oversee daily posting schedules ensuring consistency and relevance.
- Monitor trends and audience insights to optimize content performance.
- Work closely with the editorial team to translate their features interviews and larger trend pieces into engaging social posts.
- Track analyze and report on key performance metrics to refine social strategies.
- Be the voice of Hypebae for our community regularly engaging with followers responding to comments and fostering a strong digital community.
- Stay up to date with social media best practices and emerging trends in digital publishing.
- Ensure breaking news and viral content is posted in a timely manner.
- Research strategies to optimize our social media platforms.
- Liaising with PR and brands to secure exclusive social opportunities including takeovers interviews and more.
Requirements:
- Ability to develop and execute effective social media strategies.
- Wellspoken and articulate in English possess excellent oral communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Premiere Pro/Capcut.
- Experience with social media management tools analytics platforms and content creation software.
- Strong visual eye style and storytelling.
- Attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of social media trends algorithms and audience behaviors.
- Excellent organizational time and priority management skills.
$45000 $50000 a year
The expected annual base salary range for this role is between $45000 to $50000. The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience education relevant skill set location and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.
