Job Description

Thisposition requires a CDL license preferrably with Tanker endorsement.
Thisposition willoperate the Asphalt Distributor on Road Construction projects
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must have a current CDL license preferrably with Tanker endorsement and the ability to learn how tooperate an Asphalt Distributor Truck
Set spray bar on manual automatic or semiautomatic distributors for applying liquid asphalt.
May oil grease service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
May perform other related duties such as shovel work setting string line adding or removing screed extensions.
Must pass DOT physical/drug screen

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
Ability to add subtract multiple and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
