Job Description
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with company goals.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiate corrective actions to minimize the impact of variances.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct financial forecasting budgeting and cash flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports and budgets.
- Oversee all daytoday accounting functions including general ledger maintenance reconciliations and monthend processes.
- Prepare and manage VAT returns and tax compliance in collaboration with external auditors.
- Maintain financial systems including MDA and Pastel and ensure that all processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage the finance team providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain financial policies procedures and internal controls.
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors bankers and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning control and decisionmaking.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls.
- Manage financial risks by establishing and maintaining effective internal controls and processes.
