Formulation and Process Development Manager / Project Manager Development Services (f/m/d)
for the site Kirchberg SG Switzerland

Our site in Kirchberg SG is a competence center for development and production of softgel capsules.
Job Description
Senior project management of development projects
Responsibilities:
- Develop pharmaceutical dosage forms and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the transfer of soft capsule production including development activities.
- Coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Create and monitor project plans work packages and assigned responsibilities.
- Manage project budgets prepare quotations monitor deadlines and issue followup quotations including coordinating invoicing upon project completion.
- Formulation Development: Innovate and develop soft gelatin formulations for pharmaceutical applications.
- Process Optimization: Improve formulation processes including the production of the filling compound capsule composition encapsulation and drying.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMP FDA ICH and other regulatory guidelines.
- Technology Transfer: Support the scaling and transfer of formulations from R&D to production.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve formulation and processrelated challenges implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports development documentation and regulatory submissions.
Your Profile
- MSc or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in developing softgel formulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong expertise in softgel encapsulation processes gelatin composition and filling formulation.
- Experience with lipidbased formulations suspensions and API solubility strategies.
- Understanding of analytical methods stability studies and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with cGMP ICH guidelines and FDA approval procedures.
- Strong teamwork skills resilience independence and excellent communication abilities.
- You have a good command of German and English.
