General Overview
The Partners eCare Clinical Testing Coordinator is an integral member of the Partners eCare Testing Team. The incumbent will be responsible for updating and executing test cases in multiple environments documenting test results and defects found during testing. They will support the Partners Clinical Testing Manager by creating documents to present testing status. They will work with both internal Partners eCare test coordinators as well as entity resources to complete testing efforts. Duties and responsibilities will vary according to job level and experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with Testing Application & other Technology teams to contribute to the testing effort for application and integrated testing
Review test objectives with Partners eCare Business Teams to ensure test scripts will cover the functionality within the design documents
Develop application and integration test scripts based on functionality design and technical requirements according to the standards defined by the Partners eCare Testing Team
Review application and integration test scripts with Partners eCare Teams to ensure the test scripts meet the test objectives
Execute regression application and integration test scripts and log defects according to the processes defined by the Partners eCare Testing Team
Work with Testing Application Entity and other Technology teams to isolate and document software issues.
Work with Partners eCare Interface Coordinators Partners Enterprise Integration developers and entity contacts to validate the interfaces are working properly.
Troubleshoot diagnose and accurately document interface problems and their probable causes and work closely with Partners eCare Interface Coordinators to identify test and implement solutions.
Communicate status on testing efforts including metrics such as test percent complete and defect/issues logs
Complete work assignments in accordance with an established project timeline. Inform manager(s) of issues requiring their direct attention
Attend testing kickoff & status meetings throughout the duration of the project and assist in documentation
Provide weekly status reports for the duration testing
More senior positions will
o have responsibility for oversight of daily activities of the Testing team
o assist with efforts to improve and expand Partners eCare Testing (automation requirements traceability etc.
o participate in the planning and facilitation of regression application and integrated testing.
o communicate status on testing efforts to upper management
o prepare written materials for use in presentations meetings and final project documentation (as requested)
o participate in vendor support meetings to discuss changes to the application
o mentor and develop junior staff

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business IT Healthcare or related required
Must have 05 years related experience
Experience in performing application testing in the healthcare industry
Must have experience in testing business process workflows
EMR test experience a major plus; certification and / or knowledge of Epic systems preferred
Skills/Abilities/Competencies
Thorough understanding of Clinical workflows
Experience with HL7 messaging standards preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with test case management and defect tracking systems (TFS preferred)
Excellent organizational skills with an attention for detail and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including technical and nontechnical staff at all levels of the organization
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed reporting environment
Ability to document and communicate the status of progress against plans
Excellent problemsolving skills
Ability to be flexible in a fastpaced changing environment
Working Conditions
Office setting with some travel between Partners Healthcare System sites.
