Be our next Senior Architectural Technologist
Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of the Design team in the Architecture Group based in the Halifax office.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Candidate must be fluent inBIM 360 Revit and Microsoft Office applications as well as have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design with exceptional skills in the production and coordination of contract documents.
- Candidates must also have a thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing with the ability to work independently developing and coordinating contract documents and document checking.
- Work in a collaborative environment with the Project Manager Architect and other Technical and Design Staff
- Complete technical drawings in Revit
- Additional duties as determined based on the knowledge and experience of the applicant
What your experience looks like
- 5 years experience working as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficient in Revit producing technical documents and construction drawings
- Understanding of current building systems materials and all codes in practice
- Knowledge and understanding of architectural standards building sciences construction technologies and practices
- Able to work with a team to produce working drawings and 3D models of architectural designs for innovative multidisciplinary projects
- Strong technical written and verbal communication skills
- Dedicated to meeting project deadlines and working efficiently
- Possess exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently
- Able to manage a number of tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to provide and receive feedback positively
