About the role:
As a Category Manager Indirect Materials you will play a key role in shaping our procurement strategy ensuring we get the best value from our suppliers while meeting business needs. Youll develop and implement category plans negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive efficiency and cost savings. This role requires a strategic mindset strong analytical skills and the ability to influence at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing spend in the indirect categories across the business
- Work effectively with Procurement Manager to develop and implement category management strategies across Master BOQ headings in order to deliver best value outcomes
- Implement structured agreements with supply chain covering pricing service levels and specification
- Assist in the identification and implementation of regional supply chains
- Negotiate and finalise terms of suppliers agreements
- Review margin and ETS reports and assist in the implementation of initiatives to reduce costs and margin erosion
- Assist with developing product and pricing information for promotional activities
- Assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of standard upgrade lists
- Develop manage and maintain professional relationships with supply chain
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders including Estimating Finance SelectionsConsultants Drafting and Construction Teams.
About You:
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Building/Construction or similar
Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent communication personal presentational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent process review and mapping skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Competence in using; Databuild SAP OnSite Companion and Microsoft Office Suite
