Job Description
Ventia delivers comprehensive facilities management services for the City of Sydney overseeing maintenance of more than 250 assets.
Were looking to employ a full time permanent Safety Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager to foster an integrated approach to SHEQ management in delivering on legal contractual and business requirements.

What youll be doing:
- Manage the implementation of SHEQ Management Plans across contracts ensuring compliance with legislation safety standards and frameworks.
- Manage one direct report and provide support and guidance relating to all SHEQ matters.
- Lead investigations into safety incidents and recommend actions to leadership.
- Ensure communication and compliance with SHEQ policies promoting a safetyfirst culture.
- Oversee employee rehabilitation and Return to Work planning.
- Ensure risk assessments and registers are maintained per company requirements.
- Develop and deliver safety training including inductions toolboxes and ad hoc sessions.
- Report statistical data to senior leadership and track contract performance.

- Demonstrated people management experience.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and a positive team culture.
- Each day brings new challenges so adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment are essential.
- Detailed knowledge of SHEQ legislation regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
