Goddard Mason Executive Searcha dedicated division ofQuality Staffing Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to immediately join the team of our North GeorgiaMetro Atlanta based equipment manufacturing client as a Production Planner.The Production Planner position is a Direct Hire opportunity working MondayFriday 8am to 5pm.The annual salary for the Production Planner will be up to $65K based on experience.
Job Summary: The Production Planner job involves coordinating and optimizing manufacturing schedules managing inventor and ensuring efficient production processes to meet customer demands and company goals analyzing demand forecasts collaborate with various departments and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
Adjusting plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand of production capacity
Determines production priorities and monitors their progress throughout the month to ensure ontime delivery of product to customers
Provides a reliable production plan once a day including all the necessary information required for optimal machine capacity
Advises on FTE requirements for the implementation of the production schedule
Effectively interfaces with production engineering and purchasing customers etc.
Must keep track of production numbers and anticipate problems that could affect the schedule and delivery performance
Analyzes raw materials and purchased parts to ensure that scheduling requirements are met
Increases productivity and efficiency
Increases productivity and efficiency by maximizing direct labor utilization and maximize line productivity by reducing downtime productivity caused by product changeovers
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2 Year Associates degree or 4 years of of related work experience
3 to 5 years experience in production scheduling or planning preferably in the stainless steel parts manufacturing (or similar) industry experience with MRP and ERP System
Knowledge of JOBPACK and an understanding of manufacturing planning
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
High degree of quantitative and analytical skills ability to interact with departments and employees at all levels of organization
