Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service while maximizing the dealerships parts sales.
  • Receive verify and stock incoming shipments
  • Pull customer orders transfers returns and ship accordingly.
  • Locate needed parts quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain and inventory shipping and warehouse supplies
  • Clearly communicate parts pricing and expected arrival dates.
  • Inform customers immediately when expected parts arrival dates have changed or delays are expected
  • Communicate all problems shortages or delays to the branch parts manager and or general parts manager and customers as soon as possible.
  • Maintain the parts showroom in a clean properly stocked and orderly manner. Update posters and flyers as needed.
  • Follow all company and branch policies concerning invoicing stocking and credits.
  • Must be able to follow directions from supervisor.
  • Must be able to interact efficiently and have a high level of cooperation with coworkers.
  • Follow company guidelines when establishing parts selling prices.
  • Report and maintain list of lost sale information.
  • Ensure that all freight restocking and or miscellaneous charges are properly charged as per company policy.
  • Review all requests for Emergency Orders with parts manager prior to placing orders.
  • Perform parts cycle counts and other inventory control.
  • Participate and utilize all parts training when available.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products represented by the dealership.
  • Actively participate in sales improvement training.

Qualifications

  • Must have a safe driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment Drug Test and Criminal Background check.
  • Written and verbal communication skills ability to demonstrate and state facts to all contact people.
  • Understanding of PC hardware/Software (Windows MS Word MS Excel MS Outlook MS PowerPoint) including all manufacturers web portals.
  • Understanding of Manufacturers products (specifications applications operations and structures).
  • Understanding of Manufacturers Parts Policy and Procedure Manuals.
  • Detail oriented organized and responsible.
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle to pick up or deliver parts (less than 10 of the time)

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand for long periods and manage stress in a fastpaced environment.
  • Required to use computers and office machines.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand walk sit climb stairs and ladders lift 75 pounds regularly and repeatedly and use hands.
  • Must have the ability to enter exit and inspect construction equipment.
