Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney Australia but with many of our Canvanauts calling the Philippines home our office in Manila is a buzzing place. Whether your role needs you in the office at home or a bit of both weve created an environment that truly empowers you to thrive.
At the moment this role is focused on:
- Reviewing processing and approving employee reimbursement requests in line with company policy and tax regulations
- Maintaining and enhancing quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance in reimbursement operations
- Assisting in the preparation of reimbursement reports for management review
- Handling adhoc payments and supporting management with custom financial reporting needs
- Reviewing and reconciling credit card statements ensuring correct GL account and cost tagging in Netsuite
- Ensuring compliance through the organization and review of supporting documents (e.g. invoices receipts) for audits
- Partnering with the wider finance team and business units to achieve goals including meeting Shared Services SLAs and assisting with yearend audits
Youre probably a match if:
- Youre someone who brings a strong foundation in accounting ideally with handson experience in travel and expense management.
- Youre confident navigating general accounting principles and have worked with ERP systems like Netsuite
- Tools like Navan Expensify or similar tools are already in your toolkit and youre not just familiaryoure fluent
- Your keen eye for detail and knack for reconciliation make you a goto for getting things right the first time
- Communication is your strength and your documentation game is strong
- Plus you know your way around Google Workspace like a pro

The Canva PH Finance Team is the powerhouse behind our local financial operations supporting our vibrant community of Canvanauts across the Philippines. From accounts payable and general ledger to payroll forecasting and travel & expense this team plays a key role in helping us hit our crazy big goals.
Within that the Travel & Expense Team is at the heart of ensuring our PHbased Canvanauts are supported in every step of their journeyquite literally. From managing reimbursements and credit card transactions to navigating travelrelated expenses the team makes sure everything runs smoothly and accurately. Their work directly contributes to making Canva one of the best places to work in Asia.
