Job Description
Are you a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with 24 years of postarticles commercial experience Do you have a keen eye for financial strategy reporting and cost control in the Engineering or Construction industry Were looking for a Financial Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager to join a dynamic team where your expertise will play a vital role in financial decisionmaking process improvement and business growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare accurate financial statements management reports and variance analysis.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Assist with the development of budgets financial models and cash flow forecasts.
- Financial Controls & Compliance Ensure adherence to IFRS tax regulations and company policies.
- Cost & Project Accounting Oversee projectrelated financials ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
- Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal teams and external Auditors to streamline financial operations.
- Process Improvement Identify and implement efficiencies to enhance financial systems and reporting.
Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification
- 24 years of postarticles experience in a commercial role (Engineering/Construction industry preferred)
- Strong technical accounting skills and IFRS knowledge
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (advantageous)
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
