The Glennie School located in Toowoomba Queensland is an Anglican day and boarding school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding for students from Year 5. About the Role:
Reporting to the Business Manager the Facilities Manager fulfils a handson role as well as providing highquality strategic planning and management of the Schools property maintenance and ground requirements. The Facilities Manager is responsible for actively leading managing and providing direction to the Schools Maintenance Team and for coordinating the use of thirdparty contractors in delivering maintenance and property needs.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar role have lead and managed a team of people and have a good understanding of building codes and regulations.
You will need to have:
A trade engineering construction or similar qualification and/or experience in these fields;
Previous project management experience;
Highly skilled people management capability;
Welldeveloped business management skills including administration organisation and negotiation skills;
Extensive knowledge of work health and safety legislation and best practice;
Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure projects are completed fully to a high standard and on time;
Ability to coordinate a range of trades and facilities professionals ensuring a high level of workmanship and service;
The ability to build quality relationships with stakeholders quickly;
Working with Children Check (blue card);
Current Drivers Licence Open class; and
Maintain a degree of flexibility in working hours from time to time as required for the position.
