Job Description Summary
We seek to hire an assistant professor with expertise in elementary mathematics education and teacher education. We are interested in a faculty member whose teaching practice is undergirded by contemporary research within mathematics and elementary teacher education; whose work demonstrates a strong commitment to equitable teaching practices social justice and diversity; who has an interest in and/or experience with practicebased teacher education; and who is eager to work collaboratively within the department across departments and within our universityschool partnerships. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or ABD if completed by August 15 2019 in teacher education or a related field with scholarly expertise in mathematics education; successful mathematics teaching experience in grades K8; and a potential for accomplishment in scholarship.
