Job Description
- Assist customers with questions regarding permit status price routing and restrictions.
- Route applications with resources provided by Office of Maintenance (OOM) (manual or GIS).
- Become familiar with Florida Administrative Code 1426 & Florida Statute 316.515.
- Contact Districts as needed.
- Check vehicle configurations.
- Ensure restricted structures are not crossed.
- Provide alternate routes to customers.
- Become familiar with locations within Florida (maps).
- Respond to Emergency requests and update/forward to OOM as needed.
- Assist enforcement with vehicles stopped at scale facilities and expedite requests.
- Ensure the Permit Application System (PAS) is generating correct route/restrictions.
- Verify PAS is analyzing all structures.
- Check for necessary documentation needed for permit issuance.
- Perform the duties of a Blanket Technician
- Work cohesively with other coworkers.
- Display a positive work attitude.
- Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)
