Job Description
- Exercise maximum regard for the safety and welfare of all transported students while operating a school bus
- Assists students in the loading and unloading process
- Communicate effectively and professionally with school staff and the public
- Provide maximum safety for passengers while on the bus and during loading and unloading
- Maintain orderly conduct of pupils and manage them in a positive and effective way
- Complete the school bus driver training program as prescribed by state and local policies
- Obey all traffic laws
- Must be of good moral character
- Excellent driving record
- Valid drivers license for at least 5 years
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check drug test DOT Physical and dexterity test
- Good verbal skills
- Be wellgroomed and maintained in personal appearance as well as be well mannered
- School Bus Driving: Min 2 year (Preferred)
- CDL (Required)
- School Bus (S) Endorsement (Required)
