Job Description
Optimus seeks a dynamic organized customerfocused EntryLevel Sales Representative to help us reach our bold growth goals assisting fleets in reducing carbon emissions and achieving environmental sustainability milestones. This role is primarily focused on lead followup and cold outreach to engage new commercial truck fleet prospects while supporting existing customers. You will be one of the companys first points of contact for potential clients helping to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
This is a fulltime salaried position $44880$48720/year) with benefits based in Pittsburgh PA with some travel requirements for trade shows and other sales/marketing events. Responsibilities
- Follow up on inbound marketing leads and perform cold outreach to engage new prospects build rapport and create sales opportunities.
- Utilize CRM software to efficiently track manage and document all sales activities ensuring a structured and organized sales process.
- Oversee and manage social media channels to engage with prospects share relevant content and enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct virtual presentations demos and sales calls to convert prospects into customers. Maintain ongoing communication to foster longterm relationships.
- Represent the company at trade shows conferences and other sales and marketing events to generate leads and expand market reach.
- Work closely with the marketing and field sales teams to align sales strategies improve lead conversion and maximize revenue potential.
- Track and analyze sales performance key metrics and customer feedback to refine sales tactics and improve results.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Communications or a related field (preferred but not required) or equivalent experience (minimum 12 years) in an inside sales role.
- Selfmotivated goaloriented and eager to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- An ability and desire to take ownership of ones workload; must be comfortable and excel in a dynamic work environment in which the requirements are not always well define and priorities can change quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic about the opportunity to sell clean technologies to the heavyduty transportation sector.
- A strong sense of pride in the work done that shows in quality and customer satisfaction.
- Prior sales experience or familiarity with CRM software is a plus but not required.
