Nestled at the foot of the picturesque Camelback Mountain in the exclusive enclave of Paradise Valley the Montelucia Resort & Spa features 253 luxurious guestrooms 38 suites and two presidential suites. The propertys distinctive architecture is inspired by the rich history whitewashed villages and sundrenched hills of Spains Andalusia region. The property also includes the awardwinning Moroccan inspired Joya Spa three resort pools and five dining options including the critically acclaimed restaurant Prado. The resort which is adjacent to the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale offers easy access to golf recreation nightlife and entertainment.

Job Description

The Omni Montelucia is looking for a dynamic addition to their Catering and Conference Services team. The Catering Coordinator position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our meetings and events to ensure overall success and client satisfaction. This individual will report to the Director of Catering and Conference Services and handle all administrative duties as assigned by the Catering and Conference Services Department. This position is the perfect entrylevel role and segue to joining the Sales team!

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone calls all Catering lines.
  • Responding to telephone inquiries by determining clients needs and specifications for referral to Catering Sales Managers.
  • Prepare contracts and amendments for Catering Sales Managers.
  • Coordinate and service rooms only blocks.
  • Coordinate and detail all inhouse events.
  • Sending weekly reports and prepare weekly BEO distribution to operations team.
  • Responsible for assisting Catering Managers during of Catering Events.
  • Responsible for Special projects as assigned by Director of Catering/Catering Managers.
  • Cross train with Catering Sales Managers for site visits as backup.

Qualifications

  • Must have working knowledge of Excel Word Outlook Power Point
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be polished in email correspondence telephone etiquette and client facing.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Previous hotel catering and Delphi experience preferred.
