The Department of History Sociology Geography GIS at Tarleton State University is accepting applications for an adjunct faculty position in History for course offerings based at the Fort Worth Campus. The position will initially involve teaching an upper level Texas History course. We are looking for candidates who have completed a Ph.D. in the field of History or are completing a doctoral program. Preference will be given to the candidate who has prior teaching experience and graduate work in Texas History.
Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Course Level
Required Education/Experience: Masters degree and doctoral work in the discipline (defined as completion of a Ph.D. in the field of History or are completing a doctoral program)
Preferred Education/Experience: Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is desired
