The Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building robust scalable applications and brings substantial experience in both frontend and backend development. You will join a dynamic forwardthinking team at a Crypto DeFi or AI startup playing a pivotal role in creating and optimizing platforms that support cuttingedge user experiences and innovative technologies.
Who You Are
- Strong proficiency in React (Material UI Chakra UI preferred) and/or other modern frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue Angular TypeScript).
- Solid experience with backend technologies such as Node.js Go Ruby on Rails Java Spring Boot or Rust and familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB DynamoDB Redis).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes Docker) and designing scalable faulttolerant systems.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills and a deep understanding of both clientside and serverside architecture.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams including designers product managers and other engineers.
- A track record of delivering highquality maintainable code and contributing to significant projects.
- Experience working in startup environments ideally within Crypto DeFi or AI sectors with an understanding of blockchain principles smart contracts or AI/ML technologies (e.g. LLMs structured output RAG).
- Bonus: Leadership experience (e.g. leading engineering teams mentoring juniors) and familiarity with P2P networks L1/L2 blockchain architectures or tokenomics design.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of applications ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across Crypto DeFi or AI platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers designers and engineers from initial concept through to deployment translating ideas into functional userfriendly and secure solutions.
- Design and implement scalable microservices architectures RESTful APIs GraphQL services or smart contract integrations to support innovative features like realtime data updates decentralized finance tools or AIdriven insights.
- Optimize application performance security and scalability using modern technologies (e.g. WebSockets Kafka Redis) to enhance user experience and meet ambitious business goals.
- Participate in code reviews contribute to best practices and continuously improve development processes potentially taking on leadership roles to guide and mentor team members.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in Crypto DeFi and AI integrating new tools and methodologies (e.g. Rust for blockchain LLMs for AI) to keep the tech stack modern and efficient.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring system reliability and security in highstakes environments.
