Job Description
Alegra Group AG is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer for a 6month contract within the public sector in Zrich. This hybrid role is an exciting opportunity to support and enhance critical IT infrastructure in a highimpact environment. Youll work on both operations and engineering with a strong focus on Ubuntu and Red Hat Linux systems.
Tasks
- Manage and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu and Red Hat environments)
- Build configure and deploy new server infrastructure (physical and virtual)
- Ensure system availability security and performance in a production environment
- Perform system upgrades and patch management
- Automate operational processes using scripts and configuration management tools
Requirements
- Proven experience with both Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux distributions
- Solid background in Linux system engineering and administration
- Handson experience in building and deploying servers (baremetal and virtual)
- Comfortable working in both operational support and engineering/development capacities
- Familiarity with SQL Server administration and integration
