Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Migration Specialist with Kubernetes Expertise
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Migration Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in migration projects strong DevOps expertise and Kubernetes certification (CKA). This role also requires secondary skills in design Azure Migrate and automation ensuring seamless transitions and efficient workflows in a cloudfirst environment.
Responsibilities:
1.Migration and Deployment:
o Plan execute and oversee cloud migration projects.
o Evaluate and optimize migration strategies using tools like Azure Migrate.
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful application and data migration.
2.DevOps Practices:
o Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
o Optimize development and operational processes for scalability and efficiency.
o Monitor and enhance infrastructure performance.
3. Kubernetes Expertise:
o Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes.
o Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetesrelated issues.
o Ensure high availability and security in Kubernetes clusters.
4.Design and Automation:
o Design infrastructure solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
o Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
o Leverage design experience to optimize system architectures.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with stakeholders to align migration goals with business objectives.
o Document processes designs and operational guidelines.
o Train team members on best practices in migration DevOps and Kubernetes management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Kubernetes CKA Certification (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
4 years of experience in migration projects and DevOps practices.
Handson experience with Azure Migrate and automation tools.
Strong understanding of system design and architecture.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multicloud environments.
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and observability platforms.
