Job Role: Senior SAP ABAP Developer
Experience: 7years
Job Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 2 Months
Cost: Maximum 1 Lakh per Month
Location: Remote
Working Time: 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to design implement and optimize SAP integration and data extraction processes for migration to Snowflake. This individual will work closely with the data engineering team to extract and transform data from SAP systems ensuring data consistency and alignment with the overall data architecture.
Responsibilities:
Develop ABAP programs to extract data from SAP ECC or SAP BW systems.
Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to design and implement SAP data extraction processes.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for SAP data extraction and integration.
Work with the data team to ensure data consistency integrity and optimization during migration to Snowflake.
Support the debugging troubleshooting and optimization of ABAPbased extraction processes.
Ensure that the SAP data extraction processes are efficient and scalable able to handle large volumes of data.
Maintain and optimize SAP data interfaces as required for data migration.
Requirements:
5 years of experience in ABAP development within SAP environments.
Expertise in SAP ECC SAP BW and data extraction techniques.
Experience with SAP Data Services RFCs BAPIs or similar tools for data extraction is a plus.
Familiarity with data migration processes from SAP to cloudbased platforms (preferably Snowflake).
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to debug and optimize ABAP programs.
Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
