A Senior Accounts Receivable Executive at IFS is responsible for managing and ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing of products and services across all internal and external business streams. This role requires a deep understanding of billing instructions from the business and ensuring that invoices issued to customers and related parties are accurate and legally compliant.
In addition to handling complex billing processes the Senior AR Executive is actively involved in and oversees the MCPR process which facilitates the automatic billing of Project Consultants time across entities. The role also includes processing intercompany charges ensuring compliance with relevant regulations managing intercompany ARAP position through the netting process and handling recharges.
This position requires strong leadership skills proactive problemsolving and a focus on process improvements. The Senior AR Executive is expected to mentor team members drive the continuous improvement of AR processes and share knowledge and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices to customers ensuring they are accurate and comply with local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with local Finance and Operations teams to ensure invoice submission requests are processed in line with contractual agreements.
- Ensure appropriate accounting entries are recorded for all invoices in accordance with IFRS IFS policies and established processes.
- Apply local tax requirements for VAT/GST/WHT accurately when raising invoices.
- Manage and resolve customer invoice queries ensuring invoices are received and accepted for payment processing.
- Investigate and resolve any internal or external inquiries related to invoice submissions ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Intercompany reconciliation process including the netting procedure and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure the smooth of MCPR invoicing cost accounting and MCPR reconciliations while continuously driving process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. Promptly investigate and resolve any inquiries related to MCPR transactions.
- Perform all activities with an elevated level of accuracy and attention to detail ensuring that all processes are completed in accordance with IFS standard operating procedures.
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices to customers ensuring they are accurate and comply with local legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
Education
- University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in the accounting and finance field.
Knowledge & experience
- Minimum 25 years of experience in the finance field.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Commitment to continuously expanding functional and technical domain knowledge.
Specific Knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Excel is mandatory) with background in MS Outlook
