Job Description
CEDA is looking for a Tow Truck Operator for our Dredge Fluid Management team in Fort McMurray AB.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate CEDA tow trucks
- Hauling Equipment loading and offloading equipment
- Actively participate in field project
- Understand an obey all provincial highway rules and regulations
- Ensure equipment meets operation and safety requirements
- Perform pretrip inspections
- Practice proper tow truck operations of the tilt deck winch and truck
- Practice proper legal load securement
- Care for and maintain company equipment to CEDA standards
- Provide tow truck services to customers in accordance with CEDA procedures
- Take part in all safety meetings
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in a professional safe and courteous manner
Role Specifications:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years is required
- Driving is in your nature a manual transmission is a breeze 10 13 speed doesnt matter you will pass CEDAs driver assessment with flying colours)
- Prior experience driving a Tow Truck is required
- 1 years of operator experience in an industrial environment
- CSO certification required
- Ability to load and off load equipment ranging from smaller loaders and excavators to large pipe layers and dozers
- Able to provide a negative result on a preemployment drug and alcohol test
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and very good with a manual transmission
- You have the ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
- You demonstrate strong organizational and problem solving skills
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
