Job Description
Signal Energy Constructors is a full service design/build contractor providing Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for renewable energy projects across North America. We are currently searching for an experienced ambitious Construction Scheduler for Solar Energy Projects. We are looking for future leaders with a proven track record.
Works closely with: Owners Subcontractors Project Managers Project Engineers Field Construction Staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the project team to develop appropriate requirements.
- Interface with owners on project progress versus milestones.
- Work with Project Managers to establish an appropriate level of detail.
- Compile schedule and progress reports (Actual vs. Plan).
- Define primary secondary and tertiary critical path.
- Define key milestone finish variance against the baseline.
- Identify risk.
The successful candidate will have the following Skills/Experience/Abilities:
- Experience in utility related construction; wind and solar experience a plus.
- Experience working with owner representatives and subcontractors involved with the project.
- Proficient in the use of Primavera scheduling systems.
- Excellent organization communication and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with coworkers service providers and customers.
Education:
- College degree required. A degree in Construction Management or related major a plus.
- 5 years of experience a role as construction scheduler.
- Solar experience preferred.
