Box Maker
BENEFITS: Medical Dental Vision 401K
AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Box Maker on Third Shift located in West Plains Missouri. The Box Maker is responsible for fabricating boxes from corrugated cardboard materials.
JOB DUTIES:
- Pull cardboard blanks from the pallet and place them on the box table.
- Assemble cartons for finished flooring by folding precut corrugated cardboard stock and inserting tables into procut slots.
- Supply nesting line with enough folded cartons to maintain production pace.
- Monitor the temperature at the high mass oven notifying the supervisor or lead grader of any abnormal temperature readings.
- Monitor the stain operation product flow during color checks notifying the stain operator of any problems.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check employment verification and drug screening.
- Positive and Verifiable Work History.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:
- Continually push pull carry and lift 550 lbs.
- Regularly standing walking stretching bending stooping twisting reaching kneeling crouching grasping and repetitive movements.
- Continually works in a nontemperaturecontrolled environment.
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- Continually able to work in moderate noise up to 83 decibels.
- Frequently Talk hear read write.
- Continually works in a nontemperaturecontrolled environment exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles.
- Continually Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
