KBR is seeking a Configuration Manager to join our team in San Diego CA. This position can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Configuration Manager within the Department of Defense (DoD) specifically U.S. Space Force/Space Systems Command (SSC)/CGN (Narrowband SATCOM Acquisition Delta) you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and traceability of all configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle. This includes overseeing the tracking identification and control of CIs maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards and managing the organizations documents management system.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Oversee the tracking identification and control of configuration items throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Manage and oversee the documents management system
• Define and document configuration management requirements ensuring accurate and uptodate configuration data.
• Facilitate and coordinating the organizations Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). This includes scheduling CCBs preparing packages routing tracking and drafting of meeting notes.
• Maintain and enforce the Configuration Management Plan and Quality Control Plan.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 02 years of experience in an Information Security or related role preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work with personnel across multiple disciplines of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current Secret Security Clearance

Compensation for California: Starting salary ranges from $95000 to $115000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
