The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of projects within an organization. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams managing project timelines ensuring resource allocation and maintaining communication with key stakeholders. The Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Project Director support and delivery of projects.
- Develop detailed project plans including scope objectives timelines resource allocation and budget. Ensure smooth of projects by coordinating and overseeing all aspects from initiation to completion.
- Lead and collaborate with crossfunctional teams ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members ensuring accountability.
- Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues to avoid project delays or budget overruns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders providing regular updates on project progress changes risks and challenges. Ensure expectations are managed and align with organizational goals.
- Manage the project budget monitor expenses and ensure that resources are allocated effectively. Report on financial performance and take corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans schedules meeting notes and status reports. Provide timely updates to project sponsors and leadership
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required standards of quality and align with the project objectives.
- Develop and manage project timelines ensuring all deadlines are met. Address any delays and rework schedules as necessary to meet project goals.
- Maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety codes guidelines and regulations
- Participate in all assigned Health and Safety training programs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role managing large complex projects. Experience across multiple industries is a plus.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certifications required. Additional certifications in leadership or specific project methodologies are highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
- Experienced with project management and has worked in or understands the consulting engineering environment.
